As part of the Polytechnic College of Kirkuk Deanery’s commitment to developing the educational process and enhancing the infrastructure, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, carried out a field visit to the Department of Electronic and Communication Technologies, to review the progress of ongoing preparations and follow up on the logistical aspects related to the project of transforming the department into a polytechnic.
The visit included an inspection tour of the scientific laboratories, as well as discussing the requirements for qualification and development with the teaching and technical staff, in line with the approved academic standards. The Dean of the College also emphasised during the visit the importance of intensifying efforts and joint coordination to ensure the success of this vital project, which would contribute to enhancing the quality of technical education and meeting the requirements of the labour market.
This visit comes within a series of ongoing follow-ups carried out by the College Deanery, in support of modernisation and development plans and in fulfilment of the institution’s vision of transitioning towards advanced applied education.
